Add milk and extract, then beat on medium with a hand mixer for a few seconds, then switch the speed to high. You can also use a stand mixer if you have one. Either way, start slow and then increase speed to work out the lumps. Also be careful to scrape the bowl midway through to make sure you mix in all the dry ingredients. (TIP: Taste the mixture once you are done. If it’s not minty enough, you can add more extract by the drop but be careful…that stuff is STRONG!)
